Mini Amigurumi Bear – Free Crochet Pattern

Materials:

  • Yarn: Light brown, white, and mint green cotton yarn (sport or DK weight)
  • Crochet hook: 2.0 mm
  • Safety eyes: 6 mm
  • Tapestry needle
  • Fiberfill stuffing
  • Scissors
  • Stitch marker (optional)

Abbreviations (US terms):

  • MR: Magic Ring
  • ch: chain
  • sc: single crochet
  • inc: increase (2 sc in the same stitch)
  • dec: decrease (sc 2 together)
  • sl st: slip stitch
  • st(s): stitch(es)

Head & Body (Work in one piece)

With light brown yarn:

1. MR, 6 sc (6)

2. inc x6 (12)

3. (sc, inc) x6 (18)

4. (2 sc, inc) x6 (24)

5-9. sc in each st (24)

10. (2 sc, dec) x6 (18)

11. (sc, dec) x6 (12)

Start stuffing.

12. dec x6 (6)

Fasten off and weave in the end.

Arms (x2)

1. MR, 6 sc (6)

2-4. sc in each st (6)

Stuff lightly. Fasten off and leave a tail for sewing.

Legs (x2)

1. MR, 6 sc (6)

2-3. sc in each st (6)

Stuff. Fasten off and leave a tail for sewing.

Ears (x2)

1. MR, 6 sc (6)

2. (sc, inc) x3 (9)

Fasten off and leave a tail. Do not stuff. Flatten and sew to the head.

🤍 

Snout

With white yarn:

1. MR, 6 sc (6)

2. (sc, inc) x3 (9)

Fasten off. Embroider nose with dark brown thread. Sew between eyes.

🎀 

Bow Tie

With mint yarn:

ch 6, turn, 5 sc across for 2 rows.

Wrap yarn around center tightly several times and knot at the back. Sew below the snout.

🧷 

Assembly:

  • Attach arms to the sides, legs to the bottom.
  • Sew ears on top of the head.
  • Attach safety eyes between Rounds 6-7 (about 4-5 sts apart).
  • Add the snout and bow tie.
  • Done!

The pattern is incomplete. Only head and no body. Pls check.

The mini bear looks so cute BUT there is no pattern for the body!!!
It says the head and body are made in one piece but only the head is on there
Please please finish this pattern off because it’s an adorable bear and I’d love to have one as a bag charm

    I think she means for you to make two of them, one head and one body. But I went to the amigurumi bunny and made the body for that one. It’s just that you make them the same, but stop at 18 sts per row and do 4 rows before decreasing.
